Include Cookery in Galway
Improving literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy through cooking.
The ALL strategy offers a cross-government, cross-society and cross economic approach. To make this possible, I set up a Regional Adult Literacy Coalition with members from a cross section of Government groups. The coalition will give power to people with unmet literacy needs by offering the opportunity to carve out a place for themselves in the world. They will do this by increasing capacity in literacy classes, making these accessible to all and creating a more literacy friendly environment.

We want to ensure that everyone has the literacy to meet their needs, and that literacy is valued and supported at every level of our society.
Together, we can make this happen. Literacy is a human right.
